How To Start Eidolon Hunt

It's been a year since Plains of Eidolon are out, and nonetheless no guide ? I guess most of you searched on YouTube for tips, but I'm gonna add a guide here every bit you can do this solo.

First of all, I cannot confirm you have to kill or capture the Teralyst equally my achievement is broken (I've killed over 100 of them, counting also the other new eidolons, and it wont unlock, even though the back up knows nearly this effect).

Also, if you continue Cetus at night, you tin search for squads trying to kill Eidolons inside the bounty lists.

External image

Doing so will put you lot with randoms and might grant you the accomplishment, simply you might need to be prepared a flake to assistance at least a niggling. I'one thousand not here to help you get the accomplishment this mode. I'k here to assistance you sympathize the achievement and how to do information technology on your own, without just being assisted by randoms that practise all the piece of work.

######

Ok, so what are the weather condition to get-go going for this accomplishment (considering you're doing it lonely) ?

First :

Yous need to have completed the main lore (up to The War Inside) to have your Tenno and it's ain weapon. If yous don't, this will exist nearly impossible alone.

Second :

On Cetus, you need to notice the Quills syndicate. It'due south somewhere hidden in the NE part of the metropolis (considering the main gate as Due north).

External image

The syndicate volition let you get better weapons for your Tenno, which are mainly required to defeat the Teralyst.
To level up in this syndicate, you demand to get Sentient cores, which are dropped by dissentious/killing Eidolons. The fastest way to outset this syndicate easily is to go on the Plains at night, to try and kill some Eidolon Vomvalysts (100% drop chance for Intact Sentient Cores = Each core is 100 points for the Quills).
Considering you lot need to accomplish the 2nd rank (Observer) to build the amp down below, you will need a total of 300 Intact Sentient Cores (by the time you attempt this achievement, you should have already earned some - 300 Intact Sentient Cores because 5K pts to attain lv one, 10 Cores equally a sacrifice to lv 1, 22k pts to reach lv 2 and twenty Cores equally a sacrifice to lv 2). And manifestly you'll need some more to get the parts I recommend.
(If you take the Pencha Scaffold past reaching lv1 and the Shwaak Prism by reaching lv2, you'll only demand 5k pts to get the concluding part - Juttni Brace)

Third :

Let's get to the limerick :
- Warframe : I'm gonna explain the all-time combination for groups, and and so y'all can pick one of these for yourself, but and then I'yard gonna explain which one I choose for my solo runs.
[TRINITY/Prime] : Trinity is the most needed frame while fighting eidolons. Non to protect the allies simply simply for ane thing => Healing the lures. (I'll explain this later on in the guide).
[RHINO/PRIME or CHROMA/PRIME] : If you lot know your nuts on MMORPGS, y'all know that you basically demand iv types of players (Healing, DPS, Tank, Crowd Command). Pick i of those 2 frames to utilize information technology every bit the DPS type. (Explanation for Rhinoceros utilise later in the guide).
[HARROW] : Hither, the priest isn't technically a Tank or a Healer. Information technology's both. Harrow can protect your whole team from the magnetic waves the eidolon sends everytime you lot destroy one of its members, and he can also vitrify the team with critical take a chance/damage/headshot damage with the same power. He'south beast !
[OBERON/PRIME] : As Trinity, Oberon tin can easily heal the lures, only also protect the teammates from dying with another ability. I exercise not recommend him because the other frames are better on their ain, but however, he can help you a lot if you take him.

On my ain, I bring Rhino, because he can absorb a lot of damage and still be one of the easiest/strongest DPS in the game.

- Weapons : Y'all need to know directly, that TWO THINGS are virtually important when information technology comes to achieving a lot of damage on targets similar the eidolons. What element is all-time against him, and the critical impairment/chance. Currently, the best weapons to do this so far are the snipers. Long altitude, heavy damage, high crits, they are the best. Have the Vectis/Prime, the Vulkar/Wraith, the Rubico they are both good, simply the bests are the Lanka and the Rubico Prime (notwithstanding not tested this one, but the stats shows it'due south a beast).
The goal hither is to get critical chance/damage and radioactive damage. The Lanka needs to exist charged to shoot, but it is 100% electrical, which gets radioactive with fire, with insane numbers !

- Tenno weapons (Amps) : Yous'll also need a decent tenno weapon to help y'all defeat the Teralyst considering his shield can only be damaged with Void damage, which is only provided from the tenno weapons. With the Quills syndicate, yous'll need to reach the 2nd rank there to unlock the best parts for your AMP (or at least, the more than decent ones, considering the last parts are not actually that adept).
My get-go (easiest) amp I built was the Shwaak Prism, the Pencha Scaffold and the Juttni Brace. But if you've come to the 3rd rank, I've upgraded (built some other in fact) my amp to put the Lohrin Caryatid which incrases critical/condition chances, which is the all-time Brace in this case.

- Focus : Basically, the more than focus points/abilities y'all'll have unlocked, the best information technology volition be. What you need to focus on (no pun intended) the passive abilities y'all can unlock on every focus tree, because they can bring buffs to the main focus tree you'll use in fight.
For the focus tree you lot'll apply, they are two schools that are fighting. I use Unairu merely other people use Madurai. I found Unairu to be faster to unlock and easier to use, simply both are actually good.
[UNAIRU] : The perks you need to unlock/upgrade on Unairu are Unairu Wisp (and both passives if you tin can). To explain : When you apply your melee close to the Teralyst feet, information technology will spawn a special little wisp that y'all can choice upwards which will grant you an actress 100% harm during 12 seconds. And y'all can spam the melee every bit yous wish, but the timer of the wisp doesn't get over 12 seconds.

External image

[MADURAI] : The perks yous need to unlock/upgrade on Madurai are Void Strike (and both passives if y'all can). To explain : When you hide in the void mode, you're charging a counter which one time out of the void mode will give you actress damage for the adjacent X shots you lot're going to do, which applies on both your Amp and your weapons. I'm not a huge fan of this considering you need a lot more focus to max this perk, and this takes more fourth dimension to apply/charge than Unairu.

External image

[VAZARIN/NARAMON/ZENURIK] (optionnal) : The passives you need to unlock are Rejuvenating and Enduring Tides for Vazarin, Mind Footstep for Naramon and Void Siphon and Void Flow for Zenurik. Just all of those are optionnal.

Now that yous accept this nuts, you can endeavour to defeat the Teralyst. Obviously all of the things listed higher up doesn't demand to exist unlocked to get the achievement, those are only what will help you go the accomplishment easier. I really recommend doing information technology with people, but yet, you can try it on your own. I'll try and upload a video of a run I did using these tips.

HOW DOES EIDOLON Chase Piece of work ? Starting time,

eidolons simply spawn in the Plains of Eidolon at nighttime. The best is to proceed the plains just when the dark begins because the Eidolon will leave every bit presently as the day comes. The night lasts fifty minutes, which might wait brusk if you don't master the gear you lot use. My shortest run for a Teralyst (in group) was 7 minutes. Y'all can check the fourth dimension on the Plains/Cetus with this site : https://hub.warframestat.united states of america/timer

Once y'all get in the plains,

set up to fight, the first thing you'll endeavour to do is locate the Teralyst. You'll look for a large noise and/or a large blue lite emerging from the basis (only for the 20 first seconds of the game). It is all-time to spawn an archwing as before long every bit you enter the plains to get faster moving around the map. Besides, you can note that the Teralysts will nearly probable spawn around water areas and then try to await for them asap.

Once you located the teralyst,

put a marker on him and then go to grineer encampments to try to observe, kill and hack Lures, because you'll need to take at least two of them with you while fighting.

When y'all have lures,

yous need to charge them. To charge a lure, yous demand to kill Eidolon Vomwalysts (the lilliputian creepy monsters that roam at night). To kill these Vomwalysts, y'all need to take them down with your tenno weapon (Amp). They have two steps, get-go when they expect alive, the 2d when the look transparent/blue. Y'all demand to kill them until they are no more than (this tip might expect odd, simply when yous never see them before, it'due south useful to know how to kill them). You need to kill 3 Vomwalyst to charge 1 Lure. Once the lure is charged, it volition change it's colour (only the indicator) from Yellow to Blue. If yous comport more than than one lure at a time, killing iii vomwalysts might not turn one blue considering the vomwalyst souls will go in either of them, and then exist sure to have both your lures charges by killing 6 vomwalysts. Do this while going dorsum to the Teralyst.

Here the fight begins ! To damage the Teralyst royal shield, y'all need to shoot him with your Amp. Try to help yourself with your focus skills if y'all tin can. Shoot the Teralyst anywhere until you see hiw glowing red (pregnant he'south vulnerable to your bullets).

When yous can use your weapons,

shoot at the Eidolon Synovias (Arms and Knees). Do not bother zooming with your sniper to get the lilliputian multiplier it offers and kill information technology equally fast as possible. Focus on the same Synovia until information technology's destroyed. In one case the Synovia is destroyed, if yous're playing with a Harrow, he should set his fourth power to protect the whole team from the magnetic waves the Teralyst will send. If not, you can protect yourself from the damage by swapping to your tenno, and then enter void mode (be invisible). This will forbid whatever damage you can receive while on your warframe (but this will make you lose all the energy your warframe had/This consequence doesn't happen if Harrow protects you lot).

Make sure y'all take Lures close from you lot

while you fight the Teralyst otherwise he will teleport to another place on the map.

If sometimes during the fight he screams and become glowing blue, he called for help from the vomwalysts around. Yous need to impale them to remove the shield they're giving him.

Rinse and repeat

3 more times to destroy all of his synovias, then set for the last office of the fight.

Once all of his synovias are destroyed,

he volition non emit magnetic waves, but instead he volition autumn and call for help from the vomwalysts. Kill as much as yous can, and then, if he got some shield dorsum, remove it with you amp, otherwise, directly damage him wherever you want (head recommended).

In one case he'due south dead,

ii things can occur. If you have at least two lures close to y'all while he dies, his body will be captured, and two lures volition explode leaving a bunch of rewards on the footing (Arcanes, Eidolon stuff, etc..). If yous don't accept at least two lures, his body volition fall on the ground and he will be considered dead, non giving you rewards.

Commonly, at this betoken, the achievement should popular. If not, please experience free to mail service a annotate down beneath to allow me know.

At present I'm gonna add some other few tips and my full equipment for solo runs :

TIPS :

[ARCHWING] :

Think to bring archwing capsules with you to get faster at the beginning of the fight. Amesha and Itzal are the best to apply, but Itzal is by far the fastest of them.

[SECONDARY] :

You can bring a secondary weapon with y'all, but a few tin can actually be efficient. The virtually efficient ane is Lato Vandal, only if y'all appear to have this weapon, yous've probably already killed a lot of Eidolons before, due to the rarity of the weapon.

[MELEE] :

Melee will exist uneffective confronting this situation, Only it appears that I always bring a Sarpa with me, with the Shattering Impact mod on information technology, because it tin downwardly the armor of the Eidolon. To make information technology clear = Each Sharpa shot is v shrapnels. Shattering Impact removes 6 armor pts per hitting. Which is xxx armor removed by shot. The Teralyst has 200 armor, which can exist removed in 7 shots. BUT you exercise non want to remove its whole armor, because if you do so, Radiations will non be the all-time damaging element anymore. (it'southward based on how health/armor resistances work, and zippo beats radiation on armor in this case).

[RIVENS] :

If you can get a Riven mod for your sniper, you will accomplish a lot more damage, thus making the fight even shorter. But, if you lot consider buying one from other players, I just want to remind you that Rubico rivens sell for around 2000 platinum and Lanka ones for 1500 platinum...so...best luck ^^

[ARCANES] :

The best arcane so far for this...doesn't be. Just, I use maxed Guardian and Barrier Arcanes on my Rhino. Y'all might tell me that how could yous have arcanes if Eidolons drop them. Well, back in the days, the arcanes came from Raids (which doesn't exists anymore...RIP raids), plus you can also buy them from other people. Also, 1 of the cheapest arcanes that can assistance you doing this (even more than if you're running solo) is the Arcane Zero (which volition grant you resistance against Magnetism, helpful to counter the waves from the defeated Teralyst) If y'all do and so, you volition try and look to equip at least and Arcane lvl iii and another lvl ii to reach 100% protection against magnetism.

[VIRTUOS/MAGUS (arcanes for Tenno/Amp] :

If you tin can take some of these arcanes, it volition be great for you and help you a lot while fighting the Teralyst. The Magus arcanes are here to assist your Tenno. I use one Magus Vigor (which gives me more than health for my Tenno) and Magus Husk (which grants me some more armor) but you tin apply two Vigor if you want. Those arcanes are actually cheap so heed trying them.
For the Virtuos (Amp cabalistic), you'll wait for Virtuos Strike or Virtuos Fury (I've found Fury to be a flake more efficient with my Amp, but both almost buffs the same corporeality of damage).

[GEARS] :

With the archwing launcher, I would also recommend you take some free energy capsules (restores) to help you refill when you take magnetic waves (which emptied your energy) and obviously some ammo caps if you're not that expert at aiming efficiently.

And now my own gear I employ for my solo runs with some explanations :

Spoiler there because I've added a lot of pictures of my gear

*** Spoiler - click to reveal *** Warfame : [Rhinoceros Prime] I'm using a maxed Power strength Rhinoceros to use mainly my Fe Skin (protect myself from Teralyst attacks) and my Roar (to highly vitrify my damage). I reach 325% Ability Force, just this is because I optimised my configuration. 2 Formas on him and my mods are : https://goo.gl/B51Bqv
Easier/cheaper build : https://goo.gl/qhomgS

External image

Primary : [Lanka] (I've not been able to get my hands on a Rubico Prime for at present) By far the best and cheapest sniper y'all tin can own. Only downside, yous have to charge the weapon to shoot. Built on Radiations/Critical, I own a Riven mod (bought for around 500 platinum) which grants me more than zoom, more crit impairment, more crit run a risk but less max ammo. Decent but not godly rolled. half-dozen Formas on it and my mods are : https://goo.gl/JMSxQh
Easier/cheaper build : https://goo.gl/kxmnfW

External image

External image

Secondary : [Lex Prime] My favorite weapon (and first primed weapon). Also owning a Riven on information technology only configured it to do Radiation/crit. Non every bit efficient as a sniper or a Lato Vandal, merely still tin help me a chip if I'grand downed (while playing with other people). 6 Formas on it and my mods are (optionnal as stated earlier) : https://goo.gl/gkc63M

External image

External image

Melee : [Sarpa] You tin can also use the Redeemer, but the Sarpa is faster. I apply attack speed mods to get in even faster and practise not forget Shattering Impact.
Build (just in example) : https://goo.gl/XfGfmF

External image

Companion : [Adarza Kavat] I'm not using him a lot because companions e'er go killed fast, just for the few time he's alive, he can be able to grant me a few more crit risk/damage.

External image

Archwing : [Itzal] Fastest archwing in the game, y'all can even teleport yourself at further distances with this one.

External image

Focus : [Unairu] As I said earlier, I find this one to be the easiest/cheapest focus school to unlock and use.

External image

Tenno/Amp : [Shwaak, Pencha, Juttni] And there'southward the first amp I built to fight Eidolons for a long time (I take a better one, but I'll go with this ane to show y'all don't demand to reach rank 3 at the quills to be efficient).

I hope this full guide will help yous agreement in details how to get this achievement with a long preparation (Who said Warframe was easy ?) My goal was to endeavour my all-time to let you know about Anything you lot could do to get this one washed the best way possible.
Hope you lot like it, and if you need anything more, let me know in the comments !
(P.S. I'll try and add together more than visuals to the solution to make things clearer, and attempt to add a gameplay vid of my own attempt)
